Incumbent Rogers wins big in the 8th U.S. House District

Reports show that Representative Mike Rogers(R-Brighton) has won decisively in the GOP primary, closing out with a whopping 86 percent of votes counted.

Republican candidates Brian Hetrickof Brighton and Holly resident Vernon Molnarfinished far behind Rogers, winning 9 and 5 percent, respectively.

The congressman will run against Lance Enderle(D-Lansing) in the general election for the open Michigan 8th District congressional seat.
