Pilar’s Foundation announces a special fundraiser to be held Sun. May 7, 2023: Pilar’s Stands with Turkey & Syria to raise funds for Doctors Without Borders’ life-saving work with survivors of the Feb 6th earthquakes. Tamale meals provided by Pilar’s Tamales will be packaged to take home, and include a variety of extras from community partners ranging from Cardamom, El Harrissa, People’s Food Co-op, BGreen Ann Arbor, York Food and Wine, Blom Meadery, Hyperion Coffee, and others. Place orders by Sun. April 30th, and pick up at Zion Lutheran Church at 1501 W. Liberty, Ann Arbor between 3pm-6pm on Sunday, May 7, 2023. Prices from $75 to $175. Donations and volunteers are gladly accepted.

Our last fundraiser at Zion Lutheran Church in March 2022, "Pilar's Stands with Local Afghan Refugee Families," of two volunteers, raised $10,000 for Jewish Family Services’ resettlement of Afghan refugee families into Washtenaw County.
