The Embracing Our Differences Youth Artist Celebration is a family-friendly event celebrating the incredible talents of students from Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti as part of the Embracing Our Differences gallery show at CultureVerse Gallery. Dance to the live music by Little Bands and make new artwork with a workshop by Youth Art Gallery. Snacks and refreshments provided, free and open to everyone!

Embracing Our Differences Michigan and CultureVerse are collaborating to exhibit youth and adult artwork physically and digitally at CultureVerse Gallery this June.

Original pieces created by local youth and adult artists reflecting their interpretations of the theme “enriching our lives through diversity” will be on display from June 8 through June 29 at CultureVerse Gallery located at 309 S Main Street Ann Arbor, MI and online in a 3D virtual gallery. An opening and closing reception, live music, and an artist talk will be held during the exhibit as a part of a month-long series of events.

Embracing Our Differences Michigan uses the transformative power of art combined with an educational curriculum to celebrate diversity. The centerpiece is a juried, outdoor exhibit featuring 60 billboard size images created by local, national and international artists, writers and students reflecting their interpretations of the theme “enriching our lives through diversity.” Visit the outdoor installation at Gallup Park this summer beginning May 19, 2024 and their indoor exhibit at CultureVerse Gallery beginning June 8, 2024.
