Family Fun Days at Beacon Park Detroit are back by popular demand! Come to Beacon Park with the whole family to enjoy make + take activities, lawn games and crafts. Each week will feature unique themes including field day activities, music, art and live performances - even a back to school bash!

Refuel from the local food trucks or grab a bite at Beacon Park's flagship restaurant Lumen Detroit.

Musical performances for children/families (The Storytellers), interactive visual arts & crafts, storytelling

June 13 - Run + Play Field Day w/ FR4F
Obstacle course, jump rope, non-hands kickball, golf (nerf), Social Sports Detroit shuffleboard, PKSA martial arts
Programming Partner: YMCA Healthy Living Table - Free snacks and health resources.

June 20 – Father's Day Celebration
Male mentors (play leaders), craft gift-making for Dad, fun & games

June 27 – Main Stage + Crafts
Stage performances for children/families (Wild Swan Theatre), craft activities DSO community concert 4pm - 5pm

July 11 - Run + Play Field Day w/ FR4F
Obstacle course, jump rope, non-hands kickball, golf (nerf), Social Sports Detroit shuffleboard, PKSA martial arts

July 25 – Celebrate Detroit! 320th B’Day Party
Detroit-themed games and crafts
Detroit Youth Choir Virtual Performance during FFD - on a large screen.
From 6 - 9 pm: Family / Friends virtual performance.

August 1 – National Friendship Day – Passport Activities
Performances by various cultural orgs (i.e., Heritage Works, Nadanta, Clare Music School (Chinese), Living Arts (Hispanic), etc.), crafts and games from various cultural traditions

August 8 - Run + Play Field Day w/ FR4F
