Over the past several weeks, our collective losses have piled up. Jobs and income. Social connections. Routines. Security.

And people.

As of this writing, there are 2,468 COVID-19 deaths in Michigan. 2,468 someones to many thousands more people. We want to know about loved ones you've lost to the novel coronavirus. We’re asking you to record a voice memo with the following information, and send it to submissions@michiganradio.org

  1. Your full name
  2. Your loved one’s full name
  3. When they died, and how old
  4. What you will miss most about them

You can also call us at (734) 531-9971? and leave a voicemail message with the same information if that's easier.

If you’d like, you may also send along a photo. Some submissions may be used, in part or in full, on the air and/or online. Our objective is to use our platforms to bear witness to these tremendous losses; to remember and to grieve.
