The state of Michigan recorded a record high daily number of new confirmed COVID-19cases Wednesday.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported 4,101 new confirmed COVID cases on Wednesday. That’s the highest single day total since the outbreak began in March. The previous single day high was 3,782 on October 31.
More than 192,000 Michiganders have tested positive for COVID-19 during the pandemic. 7,419 have died.
Michigan COVID-19 caseloads have been risingin recent weeks, mirroring a national increase in cases.
