The Stamelos Gallery Center is proud to share Doug Cannell: Learning Curves with the campus and greater community. Learning Curves is an expansive collection of works by Detroit–based sculptor Doug Cannell. Cannell’s work is distinguished by his use of contrasting materials, textures, and the juxtaposition of the organic and the industrial. Though his work has been shown widely, this is the most comprehensive exhibition of his sculpture to date, with a diverse collection of pieces created over the past ten years.
