Don’t forget to head inside and pick up a special treat or meal from the Market Hall merchants.
Rose Hill Center will host its annual Flower Sale from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, at Rose Hill Center, 5130 Rose Hill Blvd in Holly, MI.
This free public event, which is held during Mental Health Awareness Month, features Rose Hill Center’s popular Rose Hill roses, as well as annuals, flower planters, hanging baskets, and vegetables. The event will also include a bake sale, hot food, petting farm, face painting, safety expo, and hay rides. Rose Hill Center residents and staff grow and tend the flowers as part of the center’s mental health programming. This signature event raising awareness about mental illness, combating stigma, and demonstrating the availability of treatment and the possibility of recovery. All proceeds from the event will support Rose Hill Center. The Flower Sale opens promptly at 10am, so please no early sales. All are welcome at Midtown's Plant Swap, proudly presented by Midtown Neighborhood Association. Free to attend. Printed, Woven, Turned brings together 3 groups of artists, each group specializes in a specific medium - printmaking, weaving, and woodturning. The artist groups push the boundaries of their respective craft - the printmakers celebrate the boldness and spontaneity of linoleum prints, the weavers bring new perspectives to timeless techniques, and the woodturners explore current trends in sculptural wood art. The 3 groups feature a total of 18 artists from Michigan, and together they illustrate the versatility and diversity within these 3 artistic disciplines.
