100 Years of Impact: Hannan Center Exhibit Opens October 11
Celebrate a century of impact as the Hannan Center commemorates its 100th Anniversary with a special exhibit at the Detroit Historical Museum, 5401 Woodward Avenue in Detroit. The exhibit opens Saturday, October 11, 2025, and will be on display through January 20, 2026.
Visitors will discover rare artifacts, photographs, and art that tell the story of Hannan’s 100-year history, from its early roots and innovative programs to its vision for redefining aging across metro Detroit. By weaving together stories of dignity, creativity and connection, the exhibit highlights how Hannan has enriched the lives of older adults, strengthened communities, and continues to shine a light on the powerful role older adults play in shaping the region’s future.
The exhibition, developed in partnership with the Detroit Historical Society, opens to the public day, Saturday, October 11 at 10 a.m.
Admission to the Detroit Historical Museum is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, students, active military, first responders, and educators with valid ID, and $8 for children ages 6–12. Children under 6 and members of the Detroit Historical Society are admitted free, and families of five or more receive $1 off each ticket.
