12th Annual Michigan March for Integrity

12th Annual Michigan March for Integrity

The 12th Annual Michigan March for Integrity will protest the circumcision of children. Both girls and boys need to be protected from genital cutting that removes a normal, functioning part of their genitals.

This peaceful, family-friendly event is sponsored by NOCIRC of Michigan. It is held each year to demand professional integrity from doctors and genital integrity for all children. Meet and start at Memorial Park, Royal Oak, and march outside of Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital. Children are welcome.

There are over 1,800 boys circumcised each year at Royal Oak’s Beaumont Hospital, an average of 5 boys a day. In Michigan, about 80% of newborn boys are circumcised (45,000 annually) at a cost of $10 million per year. The State of Michigan spends over 3 million dollars of taxpayer money every year providing 19,000 medically unnecessary and non-therapeutic circumcisions at the request of parents on Medicaid or with the encouragement of their healthcare providers.
