4 Daughters Minus 1, 2000 A.D. takes place in a beautiful theater in the 21st century as the world celebrates the writings inspired by Father Yahweh. Four of his royal daughters (Ruth, Queen Bathsheba, Elizabeth, and the Woman at the Well) along with Elijah have been asked by the committee to share insights about some of his most celebrated work including literature written by King David, King Solomon and from the Book of Ruth. They provide insight about why the literature has lasted for centuries. Everything is perfect until an uninvited daughter named Jezebel shows up. Jezebel will confront each of the royal daughters. They will deal with some of the issues women face today: being sole provider and caring for an elderly parent, infertility, having a position of power, forgiving those who murdered your son, reputation of a loose woman and being married to a powerful man in authority knowing that other women wait to take your place.
