Living Statue Festival - Sparta

Living Statue Festival - Sparta

Living Statues, also known as tableaux vivante, are a form of performance art in which an artist creates an elaborate display, often dressed in an intricate costume, body paint, or makeup to create a static, statuesque appearance. This year, at Michi-gan Apple Fest, you can have the chance to watch International Living Statue Performances and meet the artists! On September 15th there will be a Meet & Greet with the artist from 7-8 pm. Donuts and cider will be provided! On September 16th, there will be performances from 2-6 pm in downtown Sparta. Artists from across the world will be performing, including Portugal, Israel, and Germany!
