A Candidate Forum will be held in St. Johns on Thursday, Oct. 13 at the RESA building, Southepoint Mall, US-27.
The community event will feature the introduction of three candidates vying for two open seats on the St. Johns City Council; two incumbents and one challenger who have filed for two six-year terms; and two candidates for two partial terms, one ending 12.31.24 and the other 12.31.26 on the St. Johns School Board of Education.
The forum, sponsored by the St. Johns Call-In Coalition, will also be held 'live stream' on the coalition's Facebook page, SJ Coalition.
The coalition brings this forum to the community as a means of empowering and educating residents with the awareness of who they are casting their votes for in the Tuesday, Nov. 8 general election.
