The Warren Symphony Orchestra (WSO) will perform its first concert of the year, “Made in America,” at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022 at the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts located at 44575 Garfield Rd in Clinton Township 48038. All military veterans are invited to attend the patriotic performance free of charge.

“Made in America” is a collection of 11 compositions written by American composers. The performance will include timeless classics such as “American Salute” by Morton Gould, “Good King Charles’s Golden Days” by Linda Robbins Coleman, and “Armed Forces Salute” as arranged by Bob Lowden.

As the WSO’s 49th season kicks off with “Made in America” to honor and thank military veterans and perform music by American composers, a live auction also will take place for a chance to conduct one of the concert’s most recognizable pieces, “Washington Post March” by John Philip Sousa.
