Michiganders and Ohioans take The Rivalry for granted. It’s simply known, innate in the water: University of Michigan and Ohio State football teams are bitter rivals. But why? That’s the question we sought to answer from a listener-submitted question for our series On Hand. This submission is the first half of the report, and covers the history of the rivalry that led to the present tension.
