Like stepping into a Monet painting, Ravel’s choreographic symphony, Daphnis et Chloé, shimmers with the magic of watercolors and dreams. Adding to the reverie, Abdiel Vázquez — familiar to FSO audiences as our charismatic Holiday Pops conductor — will trade his baton for the piano bench on the Whiting stage. His performance of Ravel’s unique work for piano will single-handedly enchant you with its mysterious beauty and breathtaking technical demands. How does he do it?!
