Our quilt guild will be exhibiting our art and traditional quilts at a show called "Hanging by a Thread". It will be April 22-23, 2022 at the American Polish Cultural Center. Quilt making is a traditional international art form. It has developed far beyond the utilitarian form of bedding for which it is best known. Due to the cancellation of so many shows during the Pandemic, we believe that there will be a great interest in this show as it will be one of the first of the "quilt show circuit". It is not just your grandmother's quilt show. A special exhibit by Lynn Carson Harris will be highlighted. Harris’ work: "Unspoken Truths: The Emotional Impact of Abuse" is a series of mini-quilts focused on domestic abuse. Each quilt is inspired by a different aspect of abuse, including isolation, control, rage, and gaslighting. Please contact me for further information. Thanks!
