Joseph Min plays the Burton Tower Carillon
Emerging virtuoso Joseph Min (New York) plays the 53-bell Charles Baird Carillon in Burton Memorial Tower. His program "Dancing in the Wind" features arrangements from "Encanto" and "Pocahontas" as well as original music by Joey Brink and more. Pack up your picnic and bring the whole family!
The University of Michigan's 2025 summer carillon concerts take place every Monday in July. All concerts begin at 7 pm at either Burton Memorial Tower or Lurie Tower. Make yourself at home on the benches, in the grass, or bring something comfortable to sit on. Concerts are free, and family-, pet-, and picnic-friendly (but please leave dogs who are prone to barking at home). The music goes on rain or shine!
If you have any questions during the performance, don’t hesitate to ask concert staff who will be handing out programs at the tower door.
