Micah Dailey-White is a Kalamazoo-based songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist whose work moves fluidly between pop, hip hop, and experimental songwriting. Their music is driven by curiosity and feel rather than genre, blending sharp melodic instincts with an ear for texture, rhythm, and surprise.
In addition to solo releases, Micah is an active collaborator across the local scene, performing in and contributing to multiple projects while continually evolving their own sound. Whether working with beats, guitars, or stripped-down arrangements, their writing balances accessibility with invention, inviting listeners in without flattening the edges.
Micah will be celebrating their newest release at Art Hop. Their new album MANIA is out 2/20, with the single “Think About It” out this Friday.
About Kalamazoo Artist Spotlight
Kalamazoo Artist Spotlight is Glow Hall’s Art Hop program focused on music, sound, and performance-based artists who are actively shaping Kalamazoo’s creative life. Each month, one local musician or sonic artist is featured through live work, listening sessions, or performance, offering space for their practice to be experienced in a focused, supportive setting. The series emphasizes time-based work, shared listening, and the immediacy of live performance.
