Join General Hospital star, Maurice Benard as he celebrates several milestones in 2023- celebrating 30 years portraying the iconic character of Sonny on GH as the soap also celebrates its 60th anniversary. Maurice has been nominated for several Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor and has won in 2003, 2019 and 2021. He's nominated again this year in 2023! Maurice is also an advocate for mental health and is very active in the bi-polar community. Maurice’s book, “Nothing General About It: How Love and Lithium saved me on and off General Hospital” was a NY Times Bestseller. Maurice also hosts a weekly show on YouTube, “State of Mind.” He brings a live event out to comedy clubs in 2023 as he tours and meets fans in several cities. He looks forward to connecting with his fans as he discusses his acting career, life struggles and surviving daily life as well as engaging in a Q and A session with fans.
