This Earth Day people concerned about the climate crisis will gather, march, hear from scientists and county leaders and press for action to curb climate change and protect vulnerable communities. Our march will start at 10:00 AM, our rally at 11:00 AM, and our fair with many environmental exhibits and groups will run from 9 to 1. Speakers will include county executive Dave Coulter, leading climate scientists Dr. Jonathan Overpeck and Dr. Julia Cole, county commission chair Dave Woodward, North Oakland NAACP environmental justice leader Kimathi Boothe, Sunrise Movement leader Heather Chen and Rev. Mandy Beal. Plus live music. Join us on Troy St at 3rd, Royal Oak.
