We are delighted to unveil "Silver Linings," a remarkable exhibition celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Spelman College Museum of Fine Art. This exhibition will showcase over 100 years of African American art history, curated from the Spelman collection.

Featuring 40 significant works, "Silver Linings" invites you to explore a diverse range of artistic styles, materials, and historical contexts.

Artists such as Amalia Amaki, Emma Amos, Benny Andrews, Firelei Báez, Romare Bearden, and many others delve into themes of identity, color, materiality, and the concept of "place," reflecting the rich and varied experiences within the African diaspora in the United States and western Europe.
