[Detroit, Michigan] Vitamin T Productions / Tiana Hawver, a native Detroiter, will present her heartfelt documentary about reconnecting with her biological family, followed by a panel discussion about the challenges of transracial adoption and how adoption affects adoptees and their families.

On Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the Main | Detroit Public Library, we invite the public to join us for a powerful event that dives into the unique experiences of being a transracial adoptee. Hear firsthand from Tiana Hawver as she shares her personal story of identity, belonging, and self-discovery. This in-person event is a great opportunity to learn, connect, and gain a new perspective about the adoption experience.

For adoptees and those working with this population, this will be a documentary that may provide validation for the complicated journey of adoption.
