SHARE Detroit and Women’s Service Day have partnered to mobilize nearly 100 volunteers Sept. 18, supporting nonprofits across metro Detroit. WSD connects likeminded women to foster community involvement and support local organizations.

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., participating women are volunteering at nonprofits, including Capuchin Soup Kitchen, Cares of Farmington Hills, Center for Success, Developing Kids, Earthworks, Fleece & Thank You, Michigan Council of Women in Technology and Siena Literacy. Volunteers will be doing a variety of tasks, including working with children, organizing donations, stocking shelves, yardwork and blanket making.
