New way for companies to invest in renewable energy gets five solar projects off the ground in MI
Eight companies outside Michigan have gotten five new solar projects off the ground in the state — projects which might have languished otherwise.

Just over 19% of Michigan's solid waste is either recycled or composted, according to a recent analysis from the state Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy. That's an improvement from the pre-2019 rate of 14.25%.
