Michigan state parks to increase camping rates beginning August 1
Beginning August 1, 2025, many of Michigan’s 103 state parks will increase rates for camping and overnight lodging. According to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR), the reason for the increase is to keep pace with the cost of utilities, equipment, and staff.
