Join Michigan Radio for Issues & Ale discussion on Michigan’s drinking water

Michigan Radio

What’s in the water you drink?

Join Michigan Radio for a panel discussion on arsenic contamination in Michigan’s drinking water. Michigan is one of a handful of states with unusually high arsenic concentrations in groundwater. If you're on city water, your drinking water has to comply with a federal regulation that limits the amount of arsenic in it. But if you're on a private well, it's up to you to test your water and decide whether to treat it. In this Issues & Ale discussion, we'll talk about the extent of the problem and why public awareness of arsenic contamination in Michigan seems to have fallen off the radar.
