How It Works
During the Preliminary Round on Saturday, February 21 (5:30 PM & 8:30 PM), audiences will experience all eight original puppet performances. After the shows, the audience helps decide which teams move forward.

Then, the competition culminates in our Judged Final on Sunday, February 22 at 6:30 PM, where a panel of celebrity judges will determine who earns the ultimate title: TOP PUPPET.

A puppet competition as you’ve never seen before! During the snowiest time of year, eight of the best and brightest puppeteers in Detroit spent six weeks creating a completely original 7-minute show each, incorporating a different theme and the same three physical items. A panel of celebrity judges will decide who will be the top puppeteer. A night of creativity, collaboration, and clobbering!
