Celebrate a century of purpose, resilience and achievement at Hannan Center’s 70 Over Seventy – The Next Chapter Awards, an inspiring tribute to older adults whose impact proves that leadership, creativity and innovation flourish at every age. The awards luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the Atheneum Suite Hotel, 1000 Brush St. in Detroit.

Celebrating Hannan Center’s 100th anniversary year, this signature event recognizes 70 outstanding Michiganders aged 70 and older who exemplify what it means to live boldly and make a difference. Honorees are recognized across categories including Art, Civic and Community Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Lifelong Learning, Lifetime Achievement, and Unsung Hero.

Guests will enjoy an uplifting afternoon of recognition, storytelling and community, as Hannan Center shines a light on the achievements of older adults whose lives reflect the organization’s enduring mission to preserve dignity, foster connection and celebrate the power of aging.
