This event is a friendly competition among Cracked Pot artists. It consists of heats of 5 artists each. Each heat is a separate test, for example, tallest cylinder in 5 minutes or blindfolded throwing, widest bowl, or 5 teapots in ten minutes, etc.

This Studio Tour was created in 2017 by Ceramic Artists interested in organizing a weekend tour for the public to learn and appreciate pottery and ceramic sculpture.

The artists are a small group of dedicated craftspeople who excel in their craft and demonstrate proficiency in both sculpture and functional ceramics. These artists are enthusiastic in sharing their methods and work spaces.

This tour is an anticipated autumn event for attendees, but has also become a platform for connecting ceramic artists and providing a support venue for the ceramic community at large.
