David Klein Gallery Hosts Celebratory Grand Opening Weekend
One of Michigan’s most respected galleries is bringing new energy and fresh momentum to the city of Ferndale. David Klein Gallery, long recognized as a force in both Michigan and the national contemporary art world, will officially open its new gallery headquarters at 678 Livernois with a two-day grand opening celebration on Friday, July 11, 2025, beginning at 5 p.m. and continuing into the evening, and on Saturday, July 12, from 12-6 p.m. The opening exhibition features new work by Ferndale-based artist Susan Goethel Campbell and Detroit-based artist Ebitenyefa Baralaye.
The celebratory opening event on Friday evening includes a selection of wines by Elie Wine Company. Owner Elie Boudt is a Ferndale resident and gallery neighbor.
On Saturday the selection of wines by Elie Wine Company continues. There will be an artist talk and gallery walk-through with Susan Goethel Campbell at 1 p.m. Exhibitions run through August 23.
