Joe Vicari Restaurant Group will be hosting a Summer Slam Sommelier Challenge dinner event on the patio at The Statler in downtown Detroit this July. Joe Vicari Restaurant Group Sommelier Lisa Ribaudo will pair against wine specialist Peter Ochs from Fox Fine Wine, in a dueling dinner battle of the wines. Guests will enjoy an evening of fun and flavor as they relish in a three-course dinner with wine pairings.

Each dinner course, prepared by Executive Chef Jeff Lanctot, will be paired with a wine that each of these competing sommeliers have selected to match the dish. Guests will vote, per course, to decide on the best wine pairing, and the winner (best of 3) will be crowned the champion.
