Have you ever wanted to create theatre from the ground up — no script, just imagination, movement, and collaboration? Join us for Matrix Theatre Company’s Devised Theatre Workshop & Open Lab on Thursday, June 26 from 7:00–10:00 PM and spend an evening in an accessible, flexible, creative space!

This monthly event is a playful and supportive space for artists of all levels — from brand-new devisers to experienced professionals. Participants are invited to explore through physicality, improvisation, and solo or ensemble creation.

The evening kicks off with a guided workshop from 7:00–8:00 PM ($10–$20 sliding scale), designed to introduce key devised theatre techniques and warm up your creative muscles.

Then from 8:00–10:00 PM, we open the space for an Open Lab — an informal playground for experimentation, collaboration, and spontaneous creation. Pay what you want, stay as long as you like, and come play with us!

Whether you're looking to shake up your artistic process or just want a fun, low-pressure space to try something new, this workshop + lab is for you. Come move. Come play. Come create something that’s never existed before.
