Join HAVEN on Friday, May 1, 2026 as we celebrate those who support survivors of domestic violence and abuse. Our annual gala will be held at the Auburn Hills Marriott Pontiac and will be emceed by WDIV anchor, reporter and multiple Emmy winner Karen Drew, a strong community advocate and leader.

The evening will begin with a cocktail hour from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, followed by an unforgettable program from 7:00 to 10:00 pm, bringing together community and corporate leaders, advocates and survivors for a night of compassion and connection.

This inspiring event will feature a powerful paddle raise, 50/50 raffle, wine pull and silent auction, all dedicated to raising critical funds that make HAVEN’s life-saving work possible. Guests will experience meaningful conversations, moving survivor stories, and the collective energy of a community united to end violence and create lasting change.

Screamers Costumes is thrilled to welcome fan-favorite stars of the iconic HALLOWEEN movie franchise for their annual Halfway 2 Halloween event on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at their store located at 37101 South Groesbeck Highway.

Halfway 2 Halloween 2026 fan event is FREE and open to the public, where fans have Meet-n-Greet opportunities and can purchase autographs, fan photos, and VIP experiences. In addition, there will be an exclusive and limited opportunity to attend a ticketed VIP “Breakfast with the Myers” featuring a small, intimate breakfast with all three featured celebrity guests who will be mingling with fans during breakfast, and a fan Q&A moderated by Jay Towers from iHeart Radio Detroit and Fox 2 Detroit.

A portion of proceeds from the entire event will benefit the Jay Towers Cereal Drive for Gleaners Food Bank. The 17th Annual Cereal Drive, a charitable initiative started by the Professional Nurse Council of the Children’s Hospital of Michigan, supports the Gleaners Community Food Bank’s efforts in providing breakfast throughout the summer break, a crucial meal they usually receive only during the school year.

COSTS:
The fan event is FREE to attend (Doors open at 10:00 AM)
Fans are encouraged to arrive early and line up, as the stars will be signing photos and taking selfies throughout the day.
