First Lady Jill Biden visited Grand Rapids Thursday. She's promoting the emerging partnership between community colleges and pharmacies.

It’s all part of the Biden Administration’s efforts to create pop-up vaccination sites on campuses across the country.

Speaking at Grand Rapids Community College, Biden pleaded with those who have yet to be vaccinated to do so. She said the fastest way for things to get back to normal is for everyone to get the shot.

“If you're watching or you're listening, and you haven’t got your vaccine, now is the time," she said. "The vaccine is safe and effective. And it saves lives.”

Biden said she's confident that the country can achieve President Joe Biden’s goal of having 70% of adults Americans vaccinated with at least one dose by July 4.
