Across Michigan, libraries, galleries, and museums are still reeling from the Trump administration’s decision to cut federal arts funding. The impact has deepened with the Michigan Arts and Culture Council’s recent move to pause all grants indefinitely. In Traverse City, those cuts are hitting the Music House Museum, which is known for its collection of rare musical instruments and music-making machines dating back to the early eighteenth century.
