Gov. Rick Snyder has been promoting his brand of optimism at the 2016 Mackinac Policy Conference

Zoe Clark from It's Just Politics is at the Mackinac Policy Conference and there's been no shortage of news at what many would consider to be the Super Bowl for political junkies. Clark joined Stateside to discuss what hasn't been discussed that much over the last few days:  The city of Flint and the water crisis that continues there.

Rep. Dan Kildee (D-Flint) spoke with Clark at the conference and he pulled no punches in his criticism of the state government's response to the city of Flint's recovery.  Clark also spoke with Gov. Rick Snyder about his efforts to focus on the future when it comes to Flint.

GUEST Zoe Clark is the co-host of Michigan Radio's It's Just Politics.

Stateside is produced daily by a dedicated group of producers and production assistants. Listen daily, on-air, at 3 and 8 p.m., or subscribe to the daily podcast wherever you like to listen.
