Join Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency in a Ramadan Celebration Dinner on Friday, April 29, at Greenfield Manor in Dearborn, that not only celebrates a holy time of fasting, prayer and reflection, but also offers camaraderie and support to New American families in Wayne County, including Afghan refugees who escaped the Taliban and who have been invited to attend at no cost. This event is open to the general public to join Wayne Metro in welcoming New Americans to our community. Tickets are $50. All proceeds go toward Wayne Metro’s Save the Day Fund for refugees, which covers basic needs assistance including transportation, food, internet, clothing, toiletries, etc. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. The celebration begins at 8 p.m. Greenfield Manor, 4770 Greenfield Road, Dearborn, MI 48126.
