Sail Into Your Sanctuary

Sail Into Your Sanctuary

Sail into your sanctuary – and the historic “Shipwreck Century” – this August when we welcome two tall ships into Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary!

Thursday, August 14th to Sunday, August 17th, schooners Appledore IV and Alliance will be offering 90-minute sails for $55 a ticket throughout the day.

These tall ships not only offer a glimpse into our maritime past, but the chance to play the part as you help hoist the sails! Of course, you are also welcome to sit back, relax, and take it all in. Sails are appropriate for all ages and happen rain or shine.

Along with these tall ships, is a fun weekend line up including a paddle board race and family activities.
