Celebrate a century of beauty at Hidden Lake Gardens! Our Spring Flower Show returns with a spectacular tribute to 100 years of growth and inspiration. Step inside the Conservatory and experience its breathtaking transformation into a vibrant showcase of color with daffodils, hyacinths, tulips, amaryllis, and more, ushering in the season of renewal. Open Tuesday through Sunday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with last admission at 4:30 PM. Join us for a special after-hours evening on Friday, March 27 until 7:00 PM with last admission at 6:30 PM. Michigan high school seniors: Looking for college money and a way to make a difference in your community?
LAFCU is now accepting entries for its 2026 Write to Educate Essay Contest, awarding $20,000 in college scholarships—plus $2,000 donated to Michigan charities chosen by student winners.
Four students will each receive a $5,000 scholarship to a Michigan college or university and select a local nonprofit to receive a $500 donation from LAFCU. No minimum GPA. No financial-need requirement. No LAFCU membership required.

Our 5th annual March for Meals Community Walk & 5K Run is a family-friendly event for people (and dogs) of all ages to come together to support and celebrate the health and independence of older adults in West Michigan. This fun event raises valuable funds and community awareness for our life-saving services. Over 300 participants join in the timed 2-mile walk or 5K run through beautiful Millennium Park, and enjoy family-friendly activities and fun prizes under Grant Pavilion. Participants love our food-themed costume contest!
