Michigan's largest immersive and illuminated forest experience, Glenlore Trails, known for creating over-the-top themed walk-thru nighttime forest experiences, has announced Detroit-based Jay's Juniors as their charitable partner. This year's fall forest experience that is themed the "Witching Hour", recently opened and will run through November 2nd and will help benefit Jay's Juniors throughout the event season.
Friday, October 17th has been designated "Jay's Juniors Day", where a portion of proceeds from that day will benefit Jay's Juniors, a program that provides unforgettable experiences for children battling severe health conditions and their families. Additionally, all online ticket sales for the entire event season provides guests the option to donate to Jay's Juniors, furthering the opportunity to help support local children with life-altering and life-threatening conditions.

The Village of Rochester Hills, metropolitan Detroit�s premier outdoor lifestyle shopping and dining destination, has brought back The Village Pumpkin Patch for the third year in a row. This October, guests are encouraged to make a $5 donation via a QR Code to Leader Dog for the Blind for each pumpkin they pick.* Pumpkins will be available in Festival Park and will be replenished throughout the month of October.
WHEN October 5 - October 30, 2025Guests are welcome to visit any time during the day. Pumpkins are available while supplies last.
COSTA $5 donation to Leader Dogs for the Blind is requested for each pumpkin picked from the patch. *100% of the funds received will go directly to Leader Dogs for the Blind. A QR Code is on display at The Village Pumpkin Patch where guests can quickly scan and donate on their mobile device.

Hannah's House is hosting its annual International Dessert Event and Silent Auction at Trinity Church on October 18. 2025. We're having a wide variety of desserts from around the world, baked and donated by some of our friends in the community. Featured countries include France, Bhutan, USA, Italy, and more. We're excited to try them! Proceeds from this event benefit homeless, pregnant women in the Lansing community. Hannah's House houses four women at a time and provides resources like diapers and baby clothes to other families in need in our community, but this is only possible with your help.

Join HVDSA at Northstar Lounge for a mutual aid benefit concert October 20, 5pm to 9pm. Enjoy food, drinks, and live music from the Crescent City Quartet, and Violin Monster. All proceeds go to the HVDSA Solidarity fund, a resource used to help local citizens in need! Cover charge is $10. The Fair Housing Center of West Michigan and Lakeshore Advisory Board are pleased to announce our 19th Annual Lakeshore Friends of Fair Housing Event to be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 9 am to 10 am ET online via Zoom.
