Detroit Moth Mainstage show rescheduled for 2021

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Michigan Radio’s presentation of the Moth Mainstage in Detroit has been rescheduled from October 23, 2020 to the same date in 2021. The October 23, 2021 show will take place at the Music Hall Center for Performing Arts in downtown Detroit.

The Moth Mainstage features a line-up of writers, performers, and other unique national and Michigan storytellers, each with a ten-minute story to tell live without notes. This event was originally scheduled for June 5th and was then postponed to this October following the onset of the coronavirus pandemic. Following public health guidelines, the show is being rescheduled again to next fall.

Tickets purchased for the original show will be honored for the rescheduled 2021 date. Ticket refunds are also available through Ticketmaster.com. To request a refund, ticket buyers must have purchased their tickets through Ticketmaster and should request a refund by September 2, 2020. Refunds on tickets purchased through the Music Hall box office will be available at the box office beginning in September. The Music Hall is also accepting donations of the ticket price.
