Check-in Locations
Please park in one of our designated lots. A shuttle will drop you off at check-in and other locations. Check in at Cranbrook Art Museum or at the intersection of Academy Way and Lone Pine Road for printed maps and guidance. Online registration closes for OPEN STUDIOS 2026 on Friday, April 17 at 10pm. Walk-ups are welcome.
Parking and Transportation
Multiple free parking lots will be available. Please note that not all lots will have shuttle service. Details will be available closer to the event.
Accessibility
The New Studios Building of Cranbrook Academy of Art, Cranbrook Art Museum, and Cranbrook Institute of Science are the only wheelchair-accessible areas during OPEN STUDIOS. The New Studios Building houses the Cranbrook Academy of Art Ceramics, Fiber, and Metalsmithing studios.

Packard Proving Grounds invites the community to welcome spring at the Spring Fling Handmade Market on Sunday, April 19, from noon to 4 pm. The first-time indoor market brings together more than 50 local farmers and artisans offering handmade goods, fresh baked items, and thoughtfully crafted products.Spring Fling Handmade Market offers a relaxed, community-focused shopping experience while supporting local small businesses and creators. Admission is a $5 donation, with proceeds directly supporting the preservation and restoration of the Packard Proving Grounds Historic Site.

The West Michigan Potters Guild with the Woodland Weavers and Spinners Guild offers the public a chance to purchase beautiful, handcrafted gift items made by both the guild’s members at this Spring Sale. The members’ creativity is showcased in the items for sale such as pottery, garments, scarves, hats and many more fashion accessories. Also, available are a wide variety of towels, rugs, pillows, wall hangings and many other items for the home.
