Democrat Joe Biden and Republican Donald Trump will bring their respective presidential campaigns to Michigan over the next few days.
Former Vice President Biden is scheduled to meet with UAW workers in Warren Wednesday afternoon. The Democratic Party presidential nominee is expected to talk about his plans for American workers.
President Trump will be in mid-Michigan Thursday. The Republican incumbent is scheduled to address supporters at an airport north of Saginaw. The venue is not far from the site of devastating floods back in May. The president approved federal disaster assistance to those in the flood zone.
Michigan is seen as a pivotal swing state in the presidential race.
For months, polls have shown Biden leading Trump among likely voters in Michigan. But those poll numbers have been narrowing in recent weeks.
