Thoughts on Class

Thoughts on Class

How do you define class? Sure, we can talk about it purely in terms of income bracket, but to do so would be one-dimensional.

What about the woman who makes $42,000 a year, but is raising two children by herself? Or the high-skilled trades worker with a high school diploma who makes more than $70,000 a year? Or the man with a graduate degree who is unemployed, but has a car, an iPhone and no debt?

There are all kinds of factors that go into social class, so we decided to put the question to you:

How do you define it?

We interviewed a number of people from around the state to hear their thoughts on class.

Listen to their answers below, and add your own here.
