Tipsy Ypsi offers public events throughout the week and private events anytime. With over a 14 years of Paint & Pour Party experience, we’ve developed a creative night on the town that combines art and entertainment! Grab a drink and a brush and follow along as we walk you, step-by-step, through the evening’s featured painting.

Events run for approximately 2-3 hours with FREQUENT sip breaks. You will leave with a painting that is uniquely yours, and you’ll be amazed at the art you can bring to life.

Glenlore Trails' CarnEvil 2 returns September 18th - November 1st with a reimagined, family-friendly Halloween adventure featuring immersive lights, interactive games, and carnival-inspired fun along a one mile forest trail. Join this one of a kind experience this fall at Glenlore Trails .

The CarnEvil 2 Experience Includes:

CarnEvil themed interactive experiences throughout the trail

Magical Interactive Wands allowing guests to unlock additional surprises on the trail

Changes over the course of the nineteenth century in how Americans voted, from voice vote to public ballot box to private voting booth, also saw changes in the material culture that surrounded voting. Ballots and ballot boxes, campaign pins and ribbons, blank lists and pre-printed party tickets, lanterns and banners–the creative forces of the American print industry filled the country’s cities and small towns with the ephemera of electioneering.

As you look at the items in this exhibit, think about what they tell us about how Americans in the past felt about voting, and about how voting felt. How did Election Days feel when they were full of parades and music and public drinking? What was it like to vote when everyone around you knew who you voted for? And, most of all, who counted as a voter, and who did the counting?

On view September 11-December 22, weekdays from 12-4 pm.

ANN ARBOR, MI

IMPACT!: Remembering Dr. Willis C. Patterson, will honor a man who broke racial barriers, transformed the landscape of American classical music, and left an indelible mark on Ann Arbor both a a musician and a humanitarian. A gala memorial concert and reception will celebrate the profound life, artistry, and enduring legacy of Patterson who passed away on October 22, 2025, at the age of 94.

The program will feature a rich tapestry of tributes and music, reflective of Dr. Patterson's life's work. Performers include the Our Own Thing Chorale and professional artists who were former students of Patterson, as well as products of both the Chorale and Instructional Program.

Concert proceeds and tax-deductible donations support the 501(c)(3) educational mission of the Our Own Thing Instructional Program, ensuring that free musical education for local youth continues to thrive.
