The Packard Farmers Market returns for the 2026 season at the Packard Proving Grounds Historic Site. Formerly the Shelby Farmers Market, the rebranded market runs Saturdays from May 16 through October 10, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Shop local farmers, artisans, bakers, and makers in a historic outdoor setting. The market is open on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends and closed Saturday, July 4. Proceeds support the preservation of the Packard Proving Grounds.

A Beautiful Me is happy to host our 8th annual FAMILY FRIENDLY 5K chipped-run or 1 Mile walk Fun Run FUNdraiser along the St. Clair River. Imagine bubbles floating through the air as you travel the route and, at the finish line, you get both a medal to wear and bacon to eat. (Who doesn’t love bacon?) FAMILY-FRIENDLY

A fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza! Blending characters and stories from various Dr. Seuss books, including Horton Hears a Who! and Horton Hatches the Egg.

This fast-paced, high-energy production will bring to life the many unusual characters in the books of Dr. Seuss that have delighted children for many years. This popular musical that brings Dr. Seuss characters to life on stage. It features beloved characters like Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, and more as they explore themes of friendship, loyalty, and the importance of believing in oneself.

Join The Natural Dye Company and Muskegon Conservation District for a special natural dye event! In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to create a natural dye bath and explore shibori methods to produce a unique pattern. You'll apply your new skills to design a beautiful bandana for yourself, dyed a rich golden yellow using marigold flowers. There will be plenty of time for Q&A and discussion. Registration is required.
