Every September, on the 269th day of the year, Kalamazoo comes alive with 269 Fest — a weeklong celebration of music, food, film, technology, and culture. More than just another Kalamazoo event, 269 Fest brings together concerts, block parties, local markets, and community experiences that highlight the best things to do in Kalamazoo. From live entertainment to art and innovative showcases, this festival is where Kalamazoo’s creativity and culture meet what’s next.

Yes, a fine art fair can also be funky. We focus on art that has a bit of an edge. Traditional techniques but non-traditional images. We include all mediums. Audience ranges from art lovers looking for more interesting work to art lovers that have not yet realized that passion. Your most unusual work will sell. Suggested price points under $1000.

Tech Trek is your all-access pass to Ann Arbor’s tech scene. Stroll down Liberty Street, where 60+ companies will showcase their latest innovations — everything from AI to aerospace — right in the heart of downtown. Tech Talk hits the stage during Tech Trek with rapid-fire tech demos from some of the region’s most exciting innovators. Liberty Plaza transforms into an open-air theater of invention where the public can see, hear, and touch what’s next. It’s free, it’s fun, and it’s your chance to experience tech in action.

Join us for the 3rd Annual Grass Lake Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 3, from 2:00–7:00 p.m. at the Lost Railway Museum in Grass Lake. Enjoy Michigan craft beer, wine, cider, live German music, delicious food, local artisans, family-friendly activities, and more. Proceeds benefit the Lost Railway Museum and its mission to preserve the history of Michigan's electric interurban railways.
